The Manor in Glanów was built in 1786 and has survived almost unchanged to this day.  Dramatic events took place there in 1863, during the ongoing fighting of the January Uprising. Over a dozen of insurgents fleeing from the Russians, took refuge in the house and for a few hours repulsed the attacks of the overwhelming enemy forces, defending themselves despite the fire set to the wooden shingle roof of the mansion. They managed to fend all the attacks off and force the Russians to retreat – the insurgents killed in the battle and the owner of the manor were buried in the cemetery in Imbramowice.
