Description
Rodaki - the village first mentioned in historical documents in 1440. Its most precious historic building is the church of St. Mark, built of wood in 1601 and included in the Małopolska Wooden Architecture Trail. The church was built in the Gothic style.
One should also visit the new parish church designed by Witold Cęckiewicz. It is an interesting example of modern church architecture where the building is integrated into the surrounding greenery. Moreover, it stores part of the historic furnishings from the old wooden church. The surroundings of the village are famous for their natural assets. Located to the north of the village Mount Świniuszka with a 37 metre-deep cave and karst springs at the foot of the mountain are especially interesting.
