Description
During archeological excavations in the fields surrounding the farmstead in Dworska Street, the members of the research team turned their attention to the brick structure hidden behind the property. Preliminary studies have shown that it is a residential-defense tower from the first half of the sixteenth century. It was built of brick and limestone. Part of the structure up to ceiling on the ground floor has survived. It consists of two underground rooms and two more rooms on the ground floor - all with a barrel vault. The wooden roof of the tower burned down during World War I. The lintel of the entrance bears the date 1552. The first description of the tower is included in the description of the court and court buildings, which was made in 1769.
The tower stands on private property without the possibility of exploring.
